Mrs. Neiswander's Agri Flight got a visit from a friendly farmer, Mr. Bill Adams, who shared the ins and outs of raising turkeys. It was a hands-on experience that plucked the curiosity of every student.
Wynne Junior High School Receives Arkansas Community Foundation Grants
We are thrilled to announce that Wynne Junior High School has received two incredible grants! WJHS received a $25,000 grant to support its FLIGHT program. FLIGHT provides students with opportunities to experience exciting elective classes like agriculture, hunter education, creative writing, culinary skills, and many more.
Additionally, WJHS received a $15,000 grant to purchase classroom safety backpacks for students and staff in case of an emergency. These backpacks will be in every classroom and filled with medical supplies. The grant will also provide funds for emergency training to teachers and staff.

Wynne High School MCJROTC Honors Veterans with Appreciation Run
The Wynne High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (MCJROTC) honored veterans with an Appreciation Run today.
The Wynne MCJROTC helps cadets develop leadership, citizenship, and personal responsibility skills. The program also teaches cadets the importance of public service and giving back to their community.
The Wynne School District is proud to stand with our MCJROTC program and thank all of our veterans for their service!
Mrs. Vaught's Careers Class Job Shadowing!
Last week, Mrs. Vaught's Careers class had the opportunity to job shadow at local businesses and organizations. This was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about different career paths and get a firsthand look at what it's like to work in different fields.
Students learned about the day-to-day responsibilities of the jobs they shadowed and gained valuable insights into the education and training required for these careers.

Wynne High School's Family and Consumer Science classes recently began using their fully functional kitchens at the temporary High School campus. Students tested food to check for temperatures and baked homemade desserts for the Intermediate School’s Veterans Day performance.
Benefit for Tornado Survivors
On Saturday, November 11, Delta Gin will host a benefit dinner and silent auction to help tornado survivors repair their homes.
Students can earn community service hours by serving dinner and assisting with the auction.
